Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya established in 1986 in Civil area under the patronage of Central University, New Delhi an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development.Kendriya Vidyalaya Karnal started functioning in 1986 in a temporary building for classes I to V. Later in the year 2011 the Vidyalaya was shifted to its newly constructed building.
The new building of the Vidyalaya is situated near the new Police Line on Kaithal Road. The Vidyalaya is around 5 km from Karnal Bus Stand. It is a 2 section school.
