Indian sages and wise men have called knowledge (Vidya) as the means of man’s liberation. Man has desired freedom from fear, hunger, vices, bad tendencies, bad conduct, weakness, poverty and inferiority, disease, grief etc. since time immemorial. The above Mahavakya of Shri Vishnu Puran gives the message that man should strive to get freedom from all his troubles through knowledge. Knowledge is the fruit of sacrifice and penance, hence the attainment of knowledge is always hard work. Come, let us all be disciplined, use all the available resources with dedication and make a sincere effort to acquire knowledge. By incorporating proper diet, behavior and thoughts in our daily routine, let us make the infinite possibilities given by nature to us as a person flourish and blossom in the light of the sacred energy of knowledge. We all recite this sutra from Taittreya Upanishad of Krishna Yajurveda every day in the morning prayer assembly in our schools. Come, let us understand the great message hidden in this sutra and imbibe it in our lives and do our daily work. I send my heartfelt best wishes to all the principals, teachers, students, officers and personnel of Gurugram division and wish them a successful and happy future.

These are the roots of the National Tree which gives the new generation the fruits of work, worship and scholarship. These children have to decide the long road ahead and take the nation on the path to success. The primary responsibility for shaping the future of a nation is on three people-mother, father and teacher. Of these, teachers play a dominant role - since they are specially trained and selected in this work and play this duty on their behalf. A teacher is eligible for the students, the parents and the trust of the society, and it is his religion that believes in faith and integrity with complete integrity, he brings blessings to his students in every situation. Teachers form their pupils like an idol. Their guidelines set out the bright future of the students and create new possibilities for them.
